I believe lactation care should feel personal, unrushed, and practical.

Every family comes to me with a different baby, a different feeding history, and different goals. My job is to listen, figure out what is actually getting in the way, and work with you to create a plan that fits your baby and your real life.

Visits take place in my Rockwall office and include hands-on assessment, feeding observation, and plenty of time for questions. You will leave with clear next steps and a plan you can actually use at home.

Office Hours

I offer appointments Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am-3pm.

During the summer months, my availability may vary. If you don't see a time that works for you, please reach out—I may be able to find another option.

Prenatal Consult

Prenatal Consultation60 minutes · $150Whether you're expecting your first baby or preparing for another breastfeeding experience, a prenatal consultation gives us time to talk through what to expect before you're in the middle of those first exhausting days.We'll discuss:

What to expect during the first days after birth
Skin-to-skin and early feeding
Hunger and feeding cues
Comfortable positioning and latch
Establishing and protecting your milk supply
Pumping and choosing breast pumps
Breast surgery or previous breastfeeding challenges
Any concerns or questions specific to you

Initial Breastfeeding Consult

Initial Lactation Consultation90 minutes · $200This is a comprehensive, one-on-one visit designed around you and your baby.We'll take the time to understand your feeding history, your concerns, and what you hope to accomplish. I'll observe a feeding, assess your baby's latch and milk transfer, and help identify the factors that may be making feeding difficult.When appropriate, we may include a weighted feed to assess milk transfer.Together, we'll create a personalized plan based on your goals—not a one-size-fits-all checklist.Your visit may include support with:

Latch and positioning
Pain or nipple trauma
Low or high milk supply
Pumping and flange fit
Bottle feeding and paced feeding
Nipple shields
Supplementation and protecting milk supply
Returning to work
Infant oral function and feeding concerns
Weaning
Other infant feeding challenges

Breastfeeding Follow Up

Follow-Up Lactation Consultation60–90 minutes · $175Follow-up visits are tailored to what you and your baby need next.We'll review what's changed since your initial visit, reassess feeding, troubleshoot any remaining challenges, and adjust your plan as your baby grows and your goals change.Follow-up care can be helpful for:

Monitoring progress with latch or milk transfer
Increasing or regulating milk supply
Weaning from a nipple shield
Pumping and returning to work
Introducing bottles or solids
Weaning
New challenges that arise as your baby grows

Payment Options

Payment & Insurance

Rockwall Lactation is a private practice, and most families pay for their care directly.

I accept credit cards, HSA/FSA payments, and other standard forms of payment. If you have an insurance plan that I am not contracted with, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Cigna

I currently work with Cigna through Wildflower Health. If you have Cigna, please contact me before scheduling and I can help you determine whether your benefits apply to lactation care.

Insurance coverage varies by individual plan, so I recommend confirming your benefits before your appointment.

TRICARE West

Coming soon.

I am in the process of completing the final steps to begin accepting TRICARE West. I'll update this page as soon as TRICARE patients can begin scheduling.

Care Packages

Prenatal + Postpartum Package

$315

A prenatal consultation plus a postpartum lactation consultation, with 10% savings when booked together.

Continued Support Package

$468

An initial consultation plus two follow-up visits, with 15% savings.

This is particularly useful for families who anticipate needing support through returning to work, introducing bottles or solids, or weaning.

Did You Know?

Breastmilk composition changes from feeding to feeding and as your baby ages? The first milk you have is called colostrum and is tiny amounts of yellow/gold viscous liquid and then changes to larger volumes of white milk. It even has immune properties to protect your baby from pathogens they encounter in the environment such as flu and RSV!

No-Show Policy

At Rockwall Lactation, I value your time and strive to provide the best service possible. To ensure that I can accommodate all my clients effectively, I have implemented the following no-show policy:

No-Show Fee

If you fail to attend a scheduled appointment without notice of cancellation, a $50 no-show fee will be charged to your account. This fee helps me cover the costs associated with reserving time and resources for your appointment.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that life can be unpredictable, especially with family commitments. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact me no later than 7am on the day of your appointment avoid incurring the no-show fee.
